Job Summary/Purpose:
The Record to Report (R2R) Manager is a specialist position responsible local accounting issues including: a point of contact in-country, select technical accounting, month-end closings, financial reporting, balance sheet review / reconciliations and liaison with internal auditors, external auditors, and Financial Controls
Your Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Responsible or managing General Ledger
activities, focusing on Commercial and Asset Accounting
and finance reporting in Czech Republic
A main point of contact and specialist for R2R asset
accounting matters including: month end close process,
significant journal entries, and delivery of service levels
and key performance indicators (KPI’s) as defined by
R2R processes
Manages financial and fixed asset master data as
required and prepares/reviews monthly cash flow
forecast and periodic budget submissions
Deliver month end closing reporting process cross-
divisionally ensuring high quality financial statement
footnote disclosures, highly accurate asset accounting
reporting results and refines process for efficiency
Close liaison with master data and IT to ensure highly
automated and efficient reporting process and prepare
significant journal entries and account reconciliations
Ensures adherence to the Financial Control Manual
(FCM) and coordination of remediation activities as
identified through internal or external reviews
Ensuring productivity, quality, and customer-
service standards are met
Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior finance
colleagues, both internal and external accounting
authorities/auditors, and Division and Group FRA, and
ensure timely communication with stakeholders as
questions or issues arise

Minimum requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
Minimum of 5+ years’ accounting experience, preferably
in Big 4 public accounting, healthcare industry or large
corporation with shared service concept
Experience with financial consolidation and reporting
process
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in accounting
and reporting focused roles
Strong process design experience with demonstrated
ability to organize high volume and complexity of
activities into streamlined process
Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS (GAAP), accounting
and financial reporting requirements
Experience of working in projects driving performance
(e.g. ERP implementation)
Strong Communicator with good people skills, leadership
exposure with strong attention to detail
Preferred Requirements:
CPA or Chartered Accountant or an
Advanced Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is preferred
Generic / Sandoz specific experience preferred
