Procurement Specialist

What this position is about – Purpose:
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Procurement Strategy in line with the Corporate Procurement vision, including the management of categories’ and suppliers’ universe in Czech and Slovak markets.
What will you do – Responsibilities:
You will act as Procurement Specialist for Marketing and Sales categories’ spend and drive improvements of the processes.
Perform analysis and reporting of category spending, vendors database and purchased services.
Support Local & Cluster Category Manager and colleagues from Regional and Global Indirect Procurement where needed.
Build and expand supplier universe knowledge and JTI Czech and Slovakia supplier database to find the most suitable Marketing and Sales suppliers.
Monitor suppliers’ performance, and conduct annual supplier evaluation according to responsibility matrix and KPIs.
Manage bidding and negotiation processes in close cooperation with Local/Cluster Category Manager to achieve best combination of quality, cost and service.

Who are we looking for – Requirements:
High School or University degree.
Minimum one year experience in an administrative/procurement position preferably in FMCG international company.
Good knowledge of Czech/Slovak and English.
Good analytical skills.
Willingness to take responsibility and deliver the tasks with the best results.
Knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel); SAP knowledge is an advantage.
