About the business and the job:
As the head of S&OP you will own and oversee the S&OP process, coordinate key process inputs between functions and facilitates, notably oversee the demand plan and the supply plan. You will reveal dependencies of plan changes on inventory and propose measures to actively drive inventory targets.
S&OP, supply chain performance and inventory management show multiple interdependencies, and at times target conflict. The Head of S&OP identifies these dependencies and target conflicts, and creates a roadmap to a coherent KPI system with all relevant stakeholders. As the S&OP process owner, you will be held responsible for running, maintaining, and improving the overall process by:
Leadership and execution of the organization’s S&OP strategy
Driving process improvements for systems, tools and capabilities within the organization pertaining S&OP
Identification of inventory impacts from changes in plans and offering solutions to actively drive the Inventory Management
Working closely with the local supply chain and finance organizations of the production sites and building strong networks with Sales, Product Management and Global Procurement
Managing a team across different EMEA sites, directly or through a dotted line
You should apply if you have/offer:
Masters degree in business and economics, preferably with focus on supply chain management
Multiple years of experience in supply chain management, and preferably S&OP
Experience in linking customer demand, production, and supplier management
Analytical skills and ability to drive change and improvement initiatives across the organization
Strong ability to network and build solid business relations with stakeholders in the organization
Strong English language skills in written and verbal
Proven project management skills are of a big advantage
