IT in Prague collaborates with other Central Europe entities IT Teams to support 500 users in Central Europe. IT in Prague is organized in 2 teams with

·Helpdesk and Infrastructure : 2 persons dedicated to infrastructure (End Users desktop PC and support, Office, Servers and network, …)

·Development and functional support : 5 persons dedicated to integration and maintenance of local and global applications

Role
The candidate will join the Helpdesk and Infrastructure Team and will be responsible of the support of Desktop, laptops, videoconference and telephony environment for Prague locally and remotely for other Central Europe entities.

The role will be focused on resolving incidents and user requests, along with pro-active participation in the day-to-day support activities such as asset, knowledge and problem management. The incumbent will be the main point of contact for Desktop engineering and will be engaged in new technology projects and rollouts.

The opportunity to be progressively involved in server architecture day to day operation will be given to the incumbent after a certain period.

Responsibilities
The key area of responsibilities of the candidate will include:
• Provide first level support (managing and resolving end-user requests related to personal computers and office applications ) for computer and mobile device issues; escalate complex problems to the appropriate 2nd level support team
• Work with 2nd level support team to resolve business applications issues. Configure, deploy and support IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and network equipment (IP Phones, etc.) in a LAN environments.
• Install, organize, and troubleshoot software packages, including operating systems, desktop software, and custom applications
• Schedule and monitor security patches deployment 
• Coordinate with equipment vendors and 3rd party suppliers to resolve technical issues 
• Organize workstations and IP Phones move
• Maintain accurate inventories of software and hardware assets
• Use a ticketing system to track and maintain high level of service and support
• Provide on call support if required
• Decommissioning / disposal of IT equipment, when necessary
• Dealing with suppliers and external providers (purchasing of new IT equipment, new equipment test, etc.) 
• Coordinate upgrades and new deployment projects with AMUNDI HQ Desktop team
• Technical procedures update and review
• Involvement in continual improvement initiatives and project work is also expected.

Expérience

First experience providing desktop support in a Windows based environment
• Demonstrated experience in configuring, installing and troubleshooting Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2010-2016 environment
• Experience in PC management & support and good knowledge of IT hardware (Laptops, Desktops etc.)
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting email issues and a solid understanding of Office applications and Windows desktop architecture

Outils informatiques

• Familiarity with windows server architecture and VMware concept
• Familiarity with a ToIP telephony environment
• Familiarity with network print solutions and multifunction devices

 • Ability to configure end-user smartphone

Langues

Fluent in English ; Czech would be a great plus
