BAT Czech IS LOOKING FOR AN UNCONVENTIONAL CHANNELS MANAGER CZ & SK
Your role is to lead strategic agenda for consumer engagement & brand building for our new categories product in so called Unconventional channels , aligned with key brand pillars and brand cycle plans and campaigns. Unconventional channels are those places & venues outside traditional retail where we can meet consumer to experience our brands. You will deliver all above through your 3 sub-teams in CZ/ SK, counting around 12 people. Your objective is to make consumer fall in love with our brand through unforgettable experience.
You will be responsible for:
consumer activation & brand visibility & product availability in HRC Channel ( bars, clubs, seasonal places), deliver by both teams in terrain as well as office based marketing-focused team
creating occasions for consumer dialogue & experience with the brand throughout different type of Events, driven by Events sub-team and agencies
searching for new occasions to participate on local Festivals as well as ensuring excellent execution of our plans at this venues
expanding list of places with so called POP UP Stores in attractive places across Czech republic & its management and activation plans
constant exploration of other occasion where we can reach consumers
leading off-cycle & ad hoc project in this environment
Your main responsibilities will be:
drive & deliver strategic plan in Unconventional channels, including set up KPI ( consumer reach, contact, trial, sales, online & PR reach)
constant search for new consumer engagement ways, occasion & opportunities in this channel
lead, manage & develop 3 diverse sub teams with ca 12 people both in CZ/SK– HRC, Events & Festivals, Unconventional marketing team
close cross functional cooperation with Area Brand Team & 360 Activation, digital teams & agencies in order to maximize impact of the agreed plans
lead Activation project outside standard cycle plan connected to this channel
systematically monitor and understand actual market experience on an on-going basis to develop insights to drive effectiveness of different communication activities
manage Budget
manage stakeholders
Your skills and experiences:
at min. 5-6 years’ experience in marketing role ideally in FMCG company or agency
sense of innovation & interest in new consumer trends and digital environment
ability to deliver cross functional projects via great project & organizational skills
ability to make a conclusion based on analysis of all available inputs, including numeric data
leadership skills & experience in managing diverse teams
excellent communication & presentation skills are a must
excellent English & Czech / Slovak language
sense of innovation & interest in new trend and digital environment
PC skills: Power point, Excel, Word
