Job Description

The Travel, Meetings, Cards & Fleet (TMC&F) Team is responsible for the strategy, sourcing and operational management of global travel, meetings, congresses, and payment solutions across our company. Recently, the Fleet Category has been added. The Team provides value through integrated and strategic solutions that enable our stakeholders (mostly, but not exclusively, Marketing department) and customers (including HCPs) to travel and meet better.

The TMC&F Team has footprint at Global HQ, Regional and Local markets level.

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Travel, Meetings, Cards & Fleet Account Manager based in Prague, Czech Republic.

As the TMC&F Account Manager you will specifically provide strategic and operational directions to our company in the Czech Republic & Slovakia and will work in partnership with senior internal stakeholders to ensure key business priorities and requirements are understood and translated into robust travel, meetings, congress and payments strategies, policies and practices that deliver full compliance, cost optimization, and customer service experience excellence.

Via a strategic approach to Supplier Performance Management, you will be responsible for aligning our key supplier partners to our company’s strategic plans, policies and objectives, and ensuring the seamless delivery of compliant operations that enable the needs and expectations of our stakeholders and customers to be met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize operations model & supplier effectiveness to drive higher stakeholder satisfaction at reduced cost. Operational Oversight of Services Delivery, SLA, SOPs and KPIs.

  • Innovate through leading technology & digital solutions to increase stakeholder value, enhance customer experience & compliance, and provide data insights.

  • Increase program versatility to support changing business needs and impact historically unaddressed areas.

  • Responsible for the management of key supplier(s) relationships, required to achieve TM&C strategic vision, and to deliver on commitments to the business. Accountable for the development and execution of stakeholder’s management strategies at market level.

  • Act as a strategic business partner, providing effective consultation to deliver problem solving, and continuous improvement.

  • Work closely and collaborate with the Regional and Global Travel, Meetings, Cards and Fleet Sourcing and Operations (TMC&F) teams across the EMEA region to communicates business insights and requirements from multiple markets to drive enterprise-level alignment and best practice execution.

  • Lead engagement between stakeholder and supplier partners to support the clear communication of business needs and ensure service excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Measure supplier performance through SLA’s, SOP’s, KPI’s and Customer Satisfaction reporting metrics to identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities. Partner with Strategic Sourcing colleagues to support contract management, issue escalation and resolution.

  • Facilitate regular review meetings with suppliers and stakeholders at market level.

  • Establish and maintain a high-performance culture: Foster teamwork; lead cross-functional meetings; drive the escalation, and mitigation of risks and resolution of issues.

  • Foster an environment of open communication, where the status quo is challenged to drive improved performance and efficiency.

  • Ensure that the internal Meeting process as well as Suppliers tasks are aligned to Global and Local Compliance/Regulatory requirements

  • Knowledge of compliance management and Ministry of Health regulations (such as: annual TOV, declaration process and guideline)

  • Support the transition of the Fleet Category from other company’s departments to TMC&F.

  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSc Degree or equivalent professional qualification is good to have.

  • Business level of Czech and English (both written and spoken).

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in meetings management/ travel experience /account management. Proven experience in managing a wide range of meeting-types including virtual meetings; as well as experience with travel and payments management. Ideally, you have experience with congress management.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the travel industry working in/for a large pharmaceutical company.

  • Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to anticipate stakeholder and customer needs, and translate business requirements into strategies and solutions that deliver value and innovation.

  • Hands on experience in managing strategic supplier relationships at local and regional level

  • Knowledge of regulatory procedures, guidelines and policies.

  • Extensive experience with data analytics and reporting tools. Proven experience with data Management Tools or meetings Management Tools.

  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS PowerPoint. Intermediate to advanced-level MS Excel skills.

  • Proven Change Management and Project Management skills.

  • Certification in Meeting Planning (CMP) or Meeting Management (CMM) would be preferred.

  • Financial acumen and experience managing a budget.
