Bell’s Global Trade Compliance
department is looking for an innovative, analytical teammate with a global mindset to join our team as a Trade Compliance Manager supporting our sites in Europe.

This position will be located at Bell’s facility in Prague, Czech Republic and will partner with key stakeholders across Bell’s European sites to provide guidance on export/import regulations to ensure compliance with European Union, Czech, Dutch, UK, and U.S. regulations while enabling successful international business activities. In this role, you will continuously improve Bell’s global trade program through automation, process streamlining, training risk assessments. This is an Individual Contributor position.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Administer export/import authorization applications, including approval of export and/or import transactions.
  • Manage interactions between the Bell office and Bell’s Customs brokers to ensure Customs compliance on imports, including tariff classification, accuracy of Customs valuation, etc.
  • Represent Bell as required in interaction with federal agencies, including audits by Customs authorities.
  • Support Bell staff with the maintenance of regulatory agency approval for the handling and distribution of explosives/pyrotechnics, radioactive materials, poisonous and deleterious substances, and other materials requiring specific approvals.
  • Review company materials for exportability.
  • Approve international travel and visitors.
  • Develop and present global trade related training materials.
  • Conduct self-assessments
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with export/import laws and regulations.
  • Support other Bell sites as required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Affairs, Public Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of Global Trade Compliance experience.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • European Union trade regulations and process knowledge.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Czech, Dutch, UK and US trade regulations and process knowledge.
  • Aerospace/Defense industry experience.
  • SAP, GTS experience.
