About the role

Organon is hiring a Solution Architect, Commercial Business Technology, to join our friendly team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the architecture, design, planning, management and operation of our Global services.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design the solution architecture for Digital and F2F Events and also In-person engagements

  • Develop an understanding of our commercial technology needs, ensuring our applications and platforms deliver immediate and long-term capabilities

  • Work within the Commercial Customer Engagement Team and with partners (namely Veeva and other technology partners) to deploy standard commercial business capabilities established

  • Represent and support global commercial platforms and products in a matrixed environment

  • Manage a team in terms of the technical delivery, making sure that the solution provided serves the best interest of the organization

  • Document and verify the Customer Engagement systems architecture, completing all compliance documentation for system releases

  • Participate in strategic programs that will incorporate commercial solutions as part a multi-channel digital future

  • Develop best practice recommendations and author standards

  • Stay current with new technologies, methodologies, industry practices and standards

  • Role Requirements:

  • B.Sc./B.A. degree required (Computer Science, Information Management or related field)

  • Minimum of 5 years of IT Experience

  • Experience working with Veeva / Salesforce Marketing Cloud and integrated digital capabilities

  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry as a Project Lead / Team Lead is highly preferred

  • Excellent English skills

  • Experience with end-to-end business process modelling and analysis

  • Experience in regional solution delivery, design and architecture

  • Experience facilitating meetings and workshops

  • Experience in Agile as well as SDLC Waterfall project methodologies and practices is highly preferred

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong in working with stakeholders across functions and countries

  • Entrepreneur mindset, multitasked and able to set priorities

  • Problem solver, with a positive mindset

  • Able to advocate new ideas, even when risks are involved

  • Team player, independent and highly responsible
