Role Specifics
Day in the life
- Work to handle incident management and remediation response in a timely manner
- Have a direct hand in production troubleshooting and take the ownership of response across dev teams
- Improve our monitoring and alerting systems to enable engineering teams to successfully operate and gain insights into the behaviour of applications in different environments
- Involved in the integration, maintenance of already existing features and the smooth rollout and delivery of brand new functionalities
Must-have skills
- Have experience with multiple languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Container and Virtualization technologies (VM, Docker).
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud).
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment
- Understanding of software engineering concepts including multi-threading and concurrency, data structures as well as client-server and micro-services architectures
- Experience working in the Agile methodology, coupled with common version control tools and issue tracking systems ( the Atlassian suite is preferred within our team )
- Fluent in English
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and respond quickly to different problems that appears
- Play well with others – we build and ship as a team
Not required, but would add bonuses
- Healthcare and Radiology standards (DICOM, HL7/FHIR).
- Previous experience in software deployment
