About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Product Owner – Data Quality to join our growing Enterprise Data and Analytics competency. This role can be based in Prague or Lisbon and will work on cross-functional project teams in time zones across the globe.

Role responsibilities

  • As a valued subject matter expert, shape the best practices and adoption of data quality principles collaborating across teams

  • Develop, document, and perform data quality checks across data assets 

  • Ensure high-quality data is delivered to business users 

  • Automated validation of data in data repositories vs source systems 

  • Monitor data pipelines and develop testing frameworks to test ETL jobs, reports, dashboards, and other data assets 

  • Support and Maintain data pipelines ensuring the highest levels of data quality and reliability 

  • Develop Data Quality dimensions and framework to ensure accuracy and reliability of the ETL Processes

  • Role requirements

  • At least 5 years of engineering experience with a focus on data engineering and quality 

  • Proficiency in multiple ETL tools and data frameworks (Informatica, SAP, Tibco, InfoSphere, Ataccama, Synity) is a major plus 

  • Experience with multiple databases, excellent SQL skills, and Python or Java experience using REST APIs 

  • Experience with Hadoop distributions, Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR or AWS 

  • Experience designing and operating data services & data pipelines. 

    Strong communication skills in English 

    High level of accountability and self-drive 

    Positive mindset to overcome challenges and problems 

  • Travel expected 20%

  • Education Recommendations :

  • Bachelor’s or degree or Certification in Computer Engineering/Systems
