Your core activities consist of guiding the software development teams in creation of the project documentation in accordance with ISO 26262 / IEC 61508
You define safety aspects of the company process for software development including its tailoring for specific projects, maintaining the safety plans, safety cases and elevating the safety culture You work in teamwork and cooperate with other project teams and suppliers
You review software development teams outputs to ensure its compliance to the state-of-the-art methods and company processes
You have multiple software development projects in scope, in various technological domains like e-mobility, active aerodynamics, chassis, ADAS, autonomous driving, etc.
You contribute to the overall software architecture with the goal of achieving its maximum safety integrity by moderating safety analyses together with the software architects
You interact with other Software Engineers for Safety to enable continuous feedback exchange and improvement of methods and skills
You train and coach other colleagues and collaborate with international teams

You have successfully completed a Bachelor´s or Master’s Degree with technical focus in software engineering or in relevant educational background
You have previous experience working as a software developer in any role, e. g. architect, tester, programmer, modeler.
Your knowledge of design patterns for software architecture and of the typical automotive software development process is an advantage.
Your knowledge of architecture of automotive electronic systems such as control units, buses, communication protocols and diagnosis is an advantage.
Your previous experience with V-model and quality management in accordance with Automotive SPICE or CMMI is an advantage.
Your knowledge of ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 and of failure analysis methodology such as HAZOP or FMEA is an advantage.
You speak and write English and/or German very well
