Job description
We need a candidate who is willing to take on the challenge to support the project in the role of Senior NodeJS developer. You will be directly responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and documenting of new and existing features in Manigo’s platform. You will work in a scrum team and report directly to Tech-Lead.

Selected tasks and responsibilities:

  • Using your professional skills and the latest technologies to develop Manigo API platform,
  • Implementing scalable REST API  in node.js,
  • Building scalable client-side logic and a user-friendly interface,
  • Systems integration with other microservices and 3rd-party platforms
  • Frequently deploying potentially shippable software using CI/CD,
  • Making sure the system is scalable, secure, configurable, and easy to change,
  • Own one or more modules of the project under development,
  • Provide accurate and detailed work estimations,
  • Support less experienced team members, mentor them,
  • Designing and implementing masterpiece snippets in JavaScript,
  • Finding technical solutions and best practices to deliver
We expect:
  • At least 5 years of experience working as JavaScript/TypeScript developer,
  • Proficiency with Node.js and ExpressJS,
  • Professional knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript,
  • High-Level knowledge of HTTP Protocol and standard data exchange protocols,
  • Familiarity with at least one container technology (eg. Docker) and microservice architecture,
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL and/or MySql),
  • Experience with AWS,
  • Experience with GitLab or Bitbucket,
  • Familiarity with NestJS is a plus,
  • Ability to read UML diagrams,
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle,
  • Familiarity with SCRUM,
  • Good verbal and written communication in English,
  • Sound academics background ideally in Computer Science or Sciences,
  • Experience in Fintech or banking industry (nice to have).
