Network Operations Specialist
We are looking for a new colleague for the Network team. The team is responsible for large Cisco datacentre network solutions and network security solutions in the datacentre and at customer premises.
As a network operations specialist in Network, you work closely with colleagues in our international network departments to operate and maintain our customers’ network solutions. NNIT has a total of approximately 40+ network specialists allocated in Denmark, Prague, China, and the Philippines.
Your responsibilities
We work with a wide variety of network technologies and environments for our customers. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for:
Operations, maintenance, and compliance of customers’ network solutions
Working in shift rotations (without night shifts) & on-calls
2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting
Patch Management
Preparing and maintaining documentation
We work with the following technologies:
Routing & Switching (Cisco Nexus, Catalyst)
Cisco SDN/DNA, Cisco ISE
Network Wireless (Cisco WLC)
SD-WAN
Network Security (Cisco Firepower & ASA firewalls, PaloAlto firewalls, VPN, two-factor-authentication)
Qualifications and experience
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in large Cisco datacentre network environments or large enterprise solutions
You have all-around high-level skills within routing & switching or network security technologies
We mainly work with products from Cisco and expect you to have an updated Cisco CCNA certification
CCNP certification within Routing/Switching will be considered as an advantage
Your background in formal IT Operations must be grounded in the ITIL processes
You speak and write English fluently
