Senior IT Procurement & Vendor Manager

About the role

TAG IT is in the process of maturing how we work with vendors to ensure successful realisation of our business and IT goals. As a Senior IT procurement & vendor manager you will be pivotal in ensuring the success of the team through ensuring that we simplify the way IT procurement, vendor management and contract management is performed, that we execute on our priorities and that we support the TAG growth journey by enabling the realisation of our IT strategy. As a Senior IT procurement & vendor manager you will be driving the delivery of IT complex IT sourcing projects, vendor and/or contract management and ensure that you hone you skills in order to build a high performing team. Your overarching goal will be to ensure that TAG IT capture and realise increased value from sourcing IT services and products from our vendors.


What you’ll be doing
  • You should proactively drive towards fulfilling your personal and our team KPI’s within
    o Simplify how we work with vendors through consolidation, harmonisation, standardisation and digitalisation.
    o Efficiently execute IT sourcing deals to secure a high level of cost avoidance and P&L savings
    o Support the growth journey by ensuring that we create value from working with vendors through focused vendor and contract management.
  • Vendor management:
    o Proactively manage key vendors and participate in the continuous evolution of IT Vendor Management at TAG
    o Build and maintain key vendor management artefact for the vendors you manage
    o Run bi-yearly vendor assessments and satisfaction surveys for the managed vendors
    o Maintain executive reporting and drive executive meetings for selected managed vendors
    o Drive tactical meetings and day to day relationship with managed vendors and internal stakeholders
    o Act as the TAG primary point of contact between in relation to issues and disputes.
    o Facilitate dispute mediation arising from operational, tactic or strategic topics in close collaboration with contract management, IT, and support functions like legal or procurement
  • IT sourcing:
    o Drive development and maintenance of sourcing strategies for the categories or areas you cover
    o Manage relevant IT stakeholders to ensure that we have a continuously updated demand overview
    o Build and maintain a prioritised 24 month pipeline of sourcing activities within your category or areas
    o Drive execution of complex sourcing deals in close collaboration with your colleagues, IT functions and key support functions like legal and finance
    o Manage and report on IT spend in your category or areas in alignment with team KPI’s
    o Drive consolidation and simplification IT sourcing to ensure that we reduce procurement transactions and time to contract
    o Drive cost avoidance and P&L savings in accordance to personal goals for your category or areas.
  • Adhere to Adecco Group policies, processes and guidelines.
  • Work with peers and colleagues across the organisation to mature, monitor, educate and adhere to group procurement policies
  • Represent TAG IT in ongoing interactions with IT vendors
About you
  • At least 10-15 years of experience within complex IT sourcing like managed services and vendor management.
  • Good understanding of best practice vendor management, IT sourcing, contract management and IT sourcing processes.
  • Experience as advisor for leaders and executives.
  • Experience from managing multi-stakeholder projects or programmes, ideally exposure to people management.
  • Experience within negotiating complex IT contracts and/or transactional procurement.
