Job Purpose

Edwards Lifesciences HR Technology team is looking for a Senior HR Data Governance & Reporting Analyst who will be responsible for projects and activities focused on a continuous improvement of data quality in HR area, implementation of data governance principles and delivery of HR reports and reporting tools in WORKDAY!

Lead and plan HR Tech projects and regular activities with focus on HR data quality, data governance, data security and HR reporting and translate business needs into system and process design and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and plan projects with focus on HR Data Governance and HR Reporting and applying functional knowledge of HR systems, HR processes, HR data structures, reporting and analytics principles while evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, and solution development.

• Participate on the design and development of data management and governance strategy with focus on HR data quality and completeness.
• Provide recommendations/guidance to cross-functional team members to understand business and HR needs and translate them to reports, analytics solutions and other system solutions focused on HR data.

• Perform regular data audits focused on data quality and completeness, following security policy regulations and define the internal processes for continuous improvement

• Govern and guide the adoption of reporting and data audit tools and participate on their continuous improvements

• Communicate risk assessments and audit findings to HR stakeholders/management, develop improvements in the processes and controls in cooperation with Data and Process Owners

• Design, test and manager HR reports and dashboards

Other Responsibilities:
• Conduct complex analysis, design, evaluations, modification, testing and implementation of multiple systems across HR functional areas with focus on HR data.
• Troubleshoot data errors and perform root cause analysis, including proposing and implementing solutions having broader organizational impact and provide knowledge transfer to cross-functional team members
• Analyze current work processes and determine solutions utilizing system applications, business process and technical knowledge;

• Incidental: Keep abreast of technical innovation by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, IT or related field

Additional Skills:
• Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite and HR systems – Workday is strongly preferred
• Proven success adhering to and leading project schedules and managing more complex sections of projects
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Able to read, comprehend, write, and speak English
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
• Full understanding of organizational structures, changes and impact in HR system, business processes, and systems implications
• Knowledge in technology, trends, and systems
• Understanding of HR operations, data, information systems and process principles, practices and plans
• Understanding of Process Management
• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence change
• Ability to manage change effectively while mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels (Stakeholder Management)
• Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects
