The Senior Business Process Manager, Marketing works across the marketing function, supporting the Project Management Office to plan and implement business process improvement projects focused on ensuring compliance, while also improving effectiveness and efficiency. The Business Process Manager will ensure marketing operations processes are maintained and updated as needed, provide a number of quality assurance functions, provide project management assistance to the PMO team and may need to assist in short term project management assignments. The Business Process Manager acts as a center of excellence concerning all business process management relevant topics in the target organization.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Design, develop and implement business processes to achieve organization goals
Develop initiatives for continuous business process improvements
Develop best practices for business process improvements
Identify gaps, bottlenecks, inefficiencies or potential for improvement in our daily operations by analyzing data and processes
Identify missing documentation of processes and ensure streamlined documentation of all marketing processes
Educate internal teams on process and ensure process adherence
Develop and maintain business process documentations that will be used as reference
Update business processes to meet changing business needs
Coordinate with cross-functional team to develop business process requirements
Create and disseminate marketing process best practices to key stakeholders
Assess and audit frequently the process organization and improve compliance to process documentation (“write down what you do and do what has been written down”)
Plan, conduct and wrap-up internal and external process/QA audits
Be contact person for accompanying externally requested audits from outside the organization
Plan, implement and maintain a suitable KPI framework for the business processes
Be sparring partner for process automation initiatives
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
At least five years of experience in developing, optimizing and connecting processes according to BPMN
Knowledge and experience with RACI, SIPOC and Process Reference Models
Knowledge in Brandmaker process management technology is a plus
Exceptional customer service orientation and collaboration skills
Ability to navigate culture and politics across multiple functions and geographies
Ability to implement and manage processes
Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews to gain input and feedback
Ability to work with diverse skill sets (from technical to strategic resources)
Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to audience needs
Ability to execute continuous process improvement
Agile project management, planning and organizational skills (e.g. SCRUM)
Self-starter, strong team worker, proactive communicator
Ideally, at least seven years of marketing experience in an operations or project management role
Good understanding of marketing technologies, SFA system, content management system, web, advertising, e-commerce systems, business intelligence tools and bug tracking/agile work tools like JIRA
Master or equivalent degree required, marketing, business, or science (additional process management certification is a plus)
Fluent written and spoken English (bilingually preferred – German, French, Spanish or Bulgaria)
