Your responsibilities

  • Own the backlog for the evolution of SAP FICO and integrated financial applications, serve as a subject matter expert and interact with internal customers
  • Evaluate IT risks and determine total cost of ownership (TCO) from solution perspective
  • Participate in CAB meetings
  • a.Hold decision rights on solution design

  • b.Make decisions on standard vs. non-standard changes
  • c.Approve emergency changes

  • Decide on standard vs. non-standard changes within the competence area
  • Responsible to develop / approve solution design for changes (major/minor) in close alignment
  • a.With Business Architects & BPM Experts for relevant process scope
    b.With other Product Manager to ensure E2E integrity of solutions across business process areas
    c.Planning of costs and timing for change realization

  • (Technical) Template governance to protect strategic solution design and solution effectiveness
  • a.Govern low solution complexity and low total cost of ownership (TCO)
    b.Validate scope, evaluate IT risk and cost factors in projects and operations

  • Ensure close alignment with business roles (e.g. Business Architect, Key-User)
  • a.Develop solution architectural standards and guidelines in close alignment with related functions (e.g. Enterprise Architecture)
    b.Ensure adherence of changes to standards
    c.Observe solution / technology trends and consider for Olympus specific utilization

  • Ensure scalable project delivery as well as application management services by managing offshore IT suppliers
  • Your qualification

  • University degree with relevant experience or comparable education
  • Solid knowledge and experience in SAP Finance and Controlling Area
  • Experience in the area of S4/HANA are an advantage
  • Experience in consulting and application support
  • Wide knowledge in business processes in Finance and Controlling area.
  • Know-how in Project management
  • Preferable: project-or subproject leadership as well as experience in managing 3rd party service providers
  • Ideally ITIL, PMI or comparable certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
