Animal Health Sales Representative is a key position for delivering customer value and increasing our overall business results. Animal Health Sales Representative is responsible for promotion of Elanco products. With disease and product leadership as well as with very good market knowledge, the representative plays an important role in implementing Elanco sales & marketing plan tactics in his/her territory of the respective country.
Meeting goals and achieving sales plan through customer calls and wholesaler cooperation in defined territory.
Provision of meaningful animal disease information and product information to our customers.
Building and maintaining trustful and long-lasting relationship with key customers and wholesalers in defined territory.
Manages given territory by visiting veterinarians, farmers and nutritionist as per customer segmentation determined by the help of his/her supervisor.
Identification of new customer opportunities. Maintains and expands current customer base.
Implements sales and marketing activities in compliance with the sales and marketing strategy.
Preparation and coordination of customer events in his/her territory.
Organizes and holds customer presentations.
CRM implementation – regular updates of database, pre-call planning, dual visits with supervisor and other colleagues.
Reports feedback from customers, information about our competitors and other relevant market information.
Recommends activities by surveying consumer needs and trends on the market.
Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Represents the company values in the daily work with customers, act in accordance with local law, Elanco policies and procedures (Code of Conduct, GPP, SOPs).
High school or university degree (preferably in veterinary or natural sciences)
Previous experience in agricultural or animal health area
General knowledge of industry, branch, market and animal health environment
Good knowledge of English (spoken/ written)
PC skills (MS Office)
Driving license B
Self-motivated individual with strong pro-activity
Team player with high degree of customer focus and orientation on results
