Risk Ops Reporting & Business Intelligence Analyst
As a Risk Ops Reporting & Business analyst, you apply your analytical and report building skills to enable the identification of opportunities for process improvements. You are thorough, organized, and balance individual contributions with a team orientation.
In this role, you will work with a variety of individuals across and outside of the Global organization to complete tasks supporting multiple areas. You will be working in a fast-paced environment playing a visible role within our organization. You will bring the results of your analyses to life with a detailed understanding of the business and analyst-level metrics, improve business user and analyst experience, reduce chargebacks through insightful analyses.
What you'll do:
Understand how the business uses reports and how to translate that to a design flow
Work with partners to support ad hoc requests & initiatives
Performs analysis on large volumes of transactions, analysts, and traveler-level data
Work with complicated data structure, manipulate, cleanse data and perform statistical analysis
Implement analytic work plans and/or proposals
Responsible for developing and presenting business requirements to data management team to operationalize reporting and automate recurring analyses
Make intelligent trade-offs between resources available and provide creative solutions to users even in situations where all the desired data may or may not be available
Who you are:
Strong analytical and report building skills with ability to convert raw data into impactful business insights
Ability to work with ambiguity, define problem and seek solutions by using available data and making reasonable assumptions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate solutions and their business value to Sr leadership and partners
Strong Redshift/SQL ability or other programming languages to query/join/transform data from various databases
Possesses competent data extraction skills across several data platforms, and can evolve existing queries to tackle new problems
Proficient in Excel Power Query & Power Pivot
Ability to interpret information from various sources, working effectively and efficiently with large datasets, making sound and timely decisions from the analysis
Strong client service skills
Strong time management and project management skills
Experience developing Tableau dashboards
Experience working with e-commerce or transaction-level data
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
2+ years of business analytics experience
Risk management or Operation experience
