 The project and the team
We are a team of Developers, Network Engineers and QAs working on cutting edge solutions for MSPs and Enterprise markets in the security domain. We focus on a development of the Virtual Firewalls orchestrator software, which helps customers automatically deploy, scale and optimize virtual network firewalls.

Our Engineers are involved in the whole product life cycle: design, demo, PoC, deployment.

You will join a team of experts who are truly game-changers and have completed numerous networking projects, cloud or infrastructure automation and monitoring.

Things to know:

  • The development team consists of front-end and back-end developers, network engineers and QA engineers who cooperate closely with the product owner
  • We work in a multi-vendor environment
  • We use KANBAN or SCRUM methodology
  • The client is based in Canada
We work on multiple interesting projects at the time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to the interview for another project, if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it.

Your role
As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and planning tests for new features of new cutting edge network solution with close collaboration with our development team
  • Maintaining and improving a fully automated CI/CD test solution
  • Automating test cases using our framework base on Pytest
  • Designing and automating a new environment configuration to extend our testbed capabilities
  • Working in agile methodology and collaborating with a team

Do we have a match?

As a QA Engineer you must meet most of the following criteria: 
  • Understanding of the test process and its role in the software development life cycle
  • Experience with Application/VNF testing, on-boarded on Vmware infrastructure (vSphere, ESXi) – knowledge of VMware Infrastructure is mandatory
  • Strong Python programming skills, experience with Python test frameworks
  • Good knowledge of Linux network tools for network configuration and testing
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies (Containers, Virtual Machines, Orchestrators, virtual networks…)
  • Knowledge of computer networks and network protocols
  • Ability to independently configure test environments and conduct test exercises in a creative way using a testing mindset
  • Good abilities in writing unit/functional/integration/regression tests
  • Good communication skills, English (B2 level),
  • Be a team player, have a problem-solving attitude, and willingness to learn continuously
Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (emphasis on GitLab)
  • Ability to collaborate in distributed teams
  • Experience with any private/public cloud infrastructure and services
