Job Description

Alchemy has an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Relocation Consultant to join our client based in Prague.

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end international relocation process for relocating assignees, coming into the Czech Republic and also to global locations.

The role will best suit an experienced relocation and global mobility professional looking for a long-term, hands-on role, and who is willing to get stuck in from the outset.

Key duties of the Relocation Consultant include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating relocation and global mobility services, including both Czech incoming and international outbound cases, from beginning to end
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for assignees during their relocation
  • Managing the relocation process for a wide population of expatriates (inbound, outbound and intra EMEA) and providing a high level of service delivery throughout
  • Advising transferees on their relocation strategy and overseeing services including expenditure management, transportation of household items, visa/immigration, and destination services
  • Providing customers and movers with information and advice throughout the relocation process
  • Maintaining regular communication with HR contacts and outside suppliers
  • Keeping the database up to date for compliance and monitoring reasons
  • Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience managing and coordinating international relocations is essential
  • Strong knowledge of international assignment and global mobility processes
  • Keen interest in the expatriate services industry
  • Fluency in English is essential, fluency in German would be highly advantageous
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a face-paced office environment
  • Someone who is resilient to change, as internal processes adapt and evolve
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent spoken and written English
  • Good IT skills using MS Office, Word, Outlook etc.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
