Project Manager – Mobile applications

The Digital Marketing Solutions (DMS) team part of the Global Animal Health (AH) IT team is looking for a Mobile – Technical Project Manager to join the team. Responsibilities include managing the communication between vendors, technical, and business teams and coordinating project lifecycles for: the release of Animal Health’s internal and external iPhone and Android applications; reporting and analytics for internal and external mobile apps; consultation to digital agencies to troubleshoot and resolve development and release issues; and ensuring that mobile apps meet Apple’s, Google’s and our company compliance and technical requirements.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Project demand management

  • Be the primary point of contact for business teams.

  • Route demand and technical questions to appropriate technical teams.

  • Understanding technical input and be an influencer in designing the right technical approach both from an industry standard and from company/AH guidelines for app development.

Liaison with agencies to discover technical and administrative needs

  • Discover and organize any required GIT repository access.

  • Liaison with other teams for release and management of internal applications to the [email protected] our Company store, Apple AppStore Connect and Google Play Store, including SDLC documentation and change management administration.

  • Updating the in-house asset management system (WebUniverse) with mobile application details.

Consultant to app development teams

  • Advice on how to meet our company SDLC and other specific requirements.

  • Organize and coordinate meetings between vendors and internal technical teams (especially any our company or Animal Health specific services or APIs).

  • Communication with vendors to onboard onto AH certification program.

Team collaborator for future process improvements

  • Providing an assessment of our current mobile app governance model to identify possible enhancements and implementation advice based on input from various stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Contributing to an overall strategy for management of our mobile portfolio.

  • Work with various teams within company to help align on future improvements and standards.

Assist in coordinating and advising on implementing maintenance programs for all in-scope mobile apps, including on-going support.

  • Liaison with procurement, legal, technical, and other teams.

  • Understand current and future requirements based on input and analysis from technical teams.

  • Be a champion for meeting best practice standards as well as improving user and customer satisfaction.
