Programme Officer, Central Europe Programme
The Prague Civil Society Centre seeks a Programme Officer to join our newly established Central Europe Programme.
The Prague Civil Society Centre is a non-governmental organisation which supports and empowers independent media and civil society across Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. We believe that independent media and civil society are key drivers of social change, and we work to ensure they have the flexibility, connections and tools to play a leading role in the development of the region. In the face of difficult conditions, we emphasise creativity, innovation and technology as the cornerstones of a sustainable and diverse civic ecosystem.
The Central Europe Programme will initially focus on supporting independent media to increase their competitiveness and financial independence by providing grants and technical assistance that would enable outlets to experiment with new revenue streams, reach new audiences and deploy new products.
