We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong software development and cloud computing background to help us shape the technical vision and strategy of a next generation data and analytics platform. As a Product Technical Lead you will work closely with the Product Line Technical Lead, Product Managers, squad leads, and software engineering teams, leveraging your extensive experience to help manage and coordinate development activities across multiple squads, ensure technical best practices, and identify opportunities to grow and improve the product technical landscape. Our IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. We collaborate internationally to deliver services and solutions that help everyone be more productive and enable innovation.

Primary Tasks

  • Partner with Product Managers in understanding, prioritizing, and developing strategically aligned solutions which deliver maximum business value.

  • Deliver forward looking technology solutions by proactively tracking technology trends , vendor marketplace, and upcoming business needs

  • Manage the product technology roadmap and convey related IT strategy and governance

  • Act as the single point of contact for all technical matters within the assigned product

  • Own product technology solutions from concept to retirement, while striving to increase ROI and reduce financial investment

  • Collaborate with and guide the technical engineers assigned to multiple squads within the product

  • Contribute to developing accurate and realistic project plans, resource estimates, and timelines in alignment with prioritized business requirements

  • Ensure all systems are designed, built, and operated in compliant manner and promote the effective use of IT standards and tools

  • Exhibit a passion for data and deep insight into new technologies and trends

  • Demonstrate an eagerness to learn

  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in IT with the ability to architect, engineer, optimize, and maintain software solutions

  • Experience working with Engineering and Product Management teams with a demonstrated ability to operate and successfully deliver value in an agile fashion

  • Strong software engineering and programming background in at least two languages (such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, etc.)

  • AWS Certification – “AWS Solutions Architect – Associate” is a plus

  • Excellent English and ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and business audiences

  • System analysis and design experience in scalable applications

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps automation in software engineering (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform) is a plus

  • Basic understanding of database structure principles,SQL and NoSQL concepts

  • Ability to work efficiently in a matrixed environment with geographically dispersed teams including company staff, contractors, and vendors

  • Strong technical leadership and vendor management skills

  • Great organization skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a self-guided manner

  • Strong problem-solving skills
