Position Description:
As we embark on the journey to instill FinOps mindset and practice in the organization, we are looking for a product manager that can lead a team and develop the roadmap and implementation of capabilities that drives adoption and maturity of FinOps.
You will be responsible for developing and implementation of processes, tools and automation capability to enable optimized utilization for resources deployed, thereby maximizing ROI for our stakeholders. Capabilities that identify and address underutilized or unused resources, including financial analysis to identify trends and performance metrics that maximizes utilization and financial models to facilitate decision making will be the core services delivered from the team. You are expected to incorporate company and FinOps principles and best practices into the operating model and leverage on agile methodologies to deliver outcomes.
You will collaborate closely with other Product Owners, Application Owner, Product Manager and Scrum Master and ensure the team continuously delivers value to the business through enabling effective usage optimization to help our stakeholders improve their operational efficiency.
You are a self-starter; with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities without being provided explicit direction. Strong presentation skills, analytic skills, and adept in improving user experience using technology are essential.

Primary responsibilities:
Define the product strategy and roadmap and identify new opportunities and solutions, with a keen focus on value, business outcomes and user experience.
Aggregates demand from different stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their problems and opportunities; communicate them effectively; manages stakeholder expectations.
Works with other Product Owners to prioritize features and stories with external dependencies and obtains commitments.
Collaborates with the delivery team to convert the roadmap into a prioritized backlog of features.
Active participation in all Sprint Ceremonies along with delivery team.
Qualification:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Accounting and Finance or other related disciplines
Experience:
6+ years relevant experience owning and delivering digital products
3+ years experience working on public cloud
Experience in managing geographically distributed squads preferred
Experience in different delivery methods (agile, traditional) in large organizations
Experience with product management techniques such as strategy, road mapping etc
Experience aligning the organization and communicating complex technical decisions
Resource optimization tools and/or experience in python preferred
AWS / Azure and FinOps certification preferred
Scrum Certification preferred
Experience with Cloudability a plus
Strong track record of on-time, on-budget and to-specification delivery of projects
Requires excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and team building skills, business judgment, and proven expertise in directing the efforts of a technical staff.
Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and consensus building skills.
