About the role


Pricing & Rebates Analyst will be an integral role within the Financial Accounting team responsible for analysis, development and/or maintainance of customer sales & rebates contracts and associated reporting for Boston Scientific (i.e. delivering the month-end financial information that impacts Balance Sheets and P&L). This position plays a critical part in the company`s month-end close process resulting in complete accurate financial statements.

This opportunity will allow candidates to become an independent, knowledgeable, and professional financial specialist in a very short period of time. For this position, we are preferably hiring junior/fresh graduates but experienced applicants are also welcome.


Your Responsibilities will include:


The Pricing and Rebate Analyst will be responsible for rebate administration including timely calculations, accrual adjustments and payments, setup and extension of rebates. Provides analytic and strategic support to the business units in accordance with Boston Scientific’s pricing guidelines and business strategies. Collaborate with the commercial teams on various initiatives such as product launch, capital deals. Support ad hoc analysis requests.


This mainly consists of:


  • Ensures and maintains rebates in SAP and / or related system for all approved agreements to document rebate contracts and transactions.
  • Provides input & advice on proposed pricing / rebate contracts.
  • Calculate rebates on a timely basis in accordance with customer’s signed agreements.
  • Coordinate the issue of rebate credit notes and send supporting calculations to customers when requested.
  • Evaluates sales data and report to field management on monthly / quarterly basis.
  • Identifies and resolves discrepancies by interacting with various stakeholders primarily sales representatives and customers.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to communicate key information, pricing discrepancies etc.
  • Support price list creation process and regular updates of pricelist in line with the company’s pricing policy.
  • Define price levels for existing and new products; check full price waterfall, manage price list.
  • Embraces and uses all new tools and systems.




What are we looking for in you?


  • Degree in Finance or related areas (or if you are about to graduate)
  • Fluent English and Czech spoken and written
  • Advance Microsoft Excel skills
  • Understanding of Finance processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Processes-oriented person, can learn quickly and take decisions based on a given information
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under pressure as well as a strong work ethic
