1! excellent opportunity to join our P&O team that provides world-class P&O support to all key moments that matter. Purpose of this position is to provide full range of P&O Business Partnering responsibilities to a dedicated client group in Sandoz and be responsible for a specific area of the function for the successful delivery of P&O programs/policies.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Acting as an expert on the topic and advising P&O community, managers, associates, preparing regulations and knowledge articles in the respective area, connecting with Global Mobility and external vendor, following up on legislation changes and proposing needed upgrades, setting up process for local immigration, ensuring we are compliant, setting up purchase orders and ensuring local contract in place
  • Coordinate and support the implementation of various P&O processes such as recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, talent management, succession planning and OTR to achieve the Unit’s goals, in close cooperation with the respective process expert(s)
  • Implement manpower plans in alignment with the client’s Business plan; ensure the operational conversion of the P&O strategic goals within a dedicated client group. Communicate learning needs to appropriate specialist unit and deliver trainings to dedicated client groups; compile specified P&O Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data and format for reporting
  • Support personnel cost planning, performing periodic cost and productivity analyses as well as the budget planning discussions; supervise the performance and development of a small team
  • Participate or lead P&O Projects at country or BU level. Client Support - SPOC for all leaders and managers on their day-to-day P&O topics, providing expert advice; lead execution of local implementation of large-scale organizational and day-to-day organizational structure changes; implement workforce planning in collaboration with the P&O BP
  • Lead the delivery of in-country transformations, consult and negotiate with local works council / unions, provide advice and guidance for managers through the local process, oversee associate notice / handover meetings and overall restructuring lifecycle
  • Embraces customer feedback to understand the customer journey with moments that matter and drives continuous improvement. Implement enhancements and modification as necessary to meet both the business and customer needs
  • Leads the management of client initiatives, allocates resources across business units and/or projects, and makes adjustments as necessary to support changing business needs; hold managers accountable to lead and develop their people

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • College degree in HR or relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR role with focus on Immigration
  • Experience with Employee Relations Policies & Practices and Performance Management
  • Previous experience with process simplification and optimization
  • Fluent in English and local language, other language desirable
