As a part of the team you will support the development and maintains optimization models used in strategic, tactical and operational planning processes. The key focus of this role is to support Operations Research Manager in providing solutions that enable identifying cost-effective, feasible and practical solutions for end-to-end supply chain based on requirements provided by regional and local stakeholders


In this role, you will:

  • Supports maintenance and development of local, regional, and global optimisation models (e.g., European production capacity planning model, network optimisation models)
  • Responsible for maintaining and developing optimization models for European supply planning system (ESCAPE) used in all markets. The coverage of the model includes operational (weeks 1-13) and tactical (weeks 14-78) horizons for production planning, primary distribution planning, inventory planning and purchase planning (import, 3rd party supply, returnable container purchases)
  • Responsible for analysing, cleansing, and preparing data for optimisation projects and studies (including supporting in-country teams)
  • Creating optimization models for business problems in the areas of supply chain. Works with Operations Research Manager to run models’ implementation process efficiently and explain model behaviour, outputs and parameters, as well as design improvements of the models.
  • On-going development of optimization models, and improvement of their performance and quality based on end-user’s feedback.
  • Research & development of new optimization techniques

Do you have what it takes?

  • University degree (OR, Statistics, Math, Computer Science)
  • 2+ years of professional experience in supply chain or/and in operations research
  • International experience is an advantage
  • Proficiency in English
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Knowledge of optimization techniques, experience in building models
  • Knowledge of optimization software is a plus
