Aterian (NASDAQ: ATER) is a rapidly growing technology-enabled consumer products company that uses machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics to design, develop, market, and sell products through online retail channels (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, etc). Aterian was founded on the premise that if a company selling consumer packaged goods was founded today, it would apply artificial intelligence and machine learning, the synthesis of massive quantities of data, and the use of social proof to validate high caliber product offerings as opposed to over-reliance on brand value and other traditional marketing tactics.
About our project:
In this role, you will join the Aterian Team to work on one of our in-house products. We sell across multiple ecommerce marketplaces (one of the largest sellers on Amazon!) that relies upon an automated sales channel management system that provides services like fulfillment and logistics, demand forecasting, marketing optimization, price optimization, market research and affiliate platforms.
 
To achieve all this, we need team members ready to dive in and help us grow. That’s where you come in.
 
What we need you to have:
  • At least 6 years of commercial experience
  • 3-5 years of experience managing people and leading technology teams
  • Experience delivering code in a cloud environment specifically Linux-oriented
  • Solid OOP knowledge
  • Communicative English skills
  • Willingness for a long-term cooperation

What your responsibilities would be:
  • Orchestrate a team of developers to solve business problems using technology
  • Manage people and drive them to success
  • Lead projects, contribute in architectural discussions and communicate with business owners
  • Write code, tests, provision infrastructure and solve complex challenges
