Now we are looking for a SysOps Engineer to join our Engineering team with a long-term mission. It’s a great opportunity to deep-in your technical skills and get an essential customer-facing experience. Also, you have a good chance to grow into the role of Senior SysOps Engineer / Junior DevOps engineer with us.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Participation in the deployment of new infrastructure elements and making changes to existing ones based on detailed technical specifications, assignments
  • Work closely with first-level support in troubleshooting technical issues
  • Provide operational support for SAAS, Private and on-premise infrastructure
  • Automation of routine processes (integration and configuration of systems, simple scripting)
  • Compilation and support of internal technical documentation and knowledge base building
  • Supporting the Infrastructure: monitoring, resolving emerging problems, providing access, performing scheduled maintenance work
  • Automate routine task

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
  • Experience in a similar position (Junior DevOps, SysOps Engineer, System Engineer) – 3+ years
  • Proficiency in English – at least Upper-intermediate level (B2)
  • Proven experience with OS: Windows and Linux OS (installation, access control, user management, troubleshooting of system services and applications)
  • Experience with DBMS: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL (rights, database structure, backups, SQL queries)
  • Experience with Web servers: IIS, Nginx (problem-solving, proxy)
  • Understanding of the principles of client-server software, SPA, Frontend/Backend
  • Basic understanding of widely used network protocols and their place in the OSI model and routing principles.
  • The skill of using one basic monitoring metric: (Zabbix/ Prometheus / Grafana / ELK, etc.)
  • Knowledge of tools for diagnosing network problems (log analysis, ping, trace, nslookup, fiddler/Wireshark, browser DevTools, OpenSSL)
  • Knowledge of how to work with backups for various infrastructure components ( databases, files);
  • Disaster recovery strategies – basic level of understanding
  • Writing and debugging simple scripts in one of the languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Basic experience with AWS
  • Basic knowledge of configuration management (Ansible/Chef/Salt/Puppet)

  • Experience with virtualization systems: Hyper-V or VMware
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with IaC (Terraform)
  • Understanding the basic security measures applied to various application/service component
  • Ability to correctly configure network access rules.
