Responsibilities
Design, develop and test features related to Kasten by Veeam's product K10 in the area of cloud native backup and disaster recovery.
Preparation of design documents and use them to conduct design reviews with the team.
Preparation of test plans for testing features and present the test plan to the team.
Design and development of CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous deployment) pipelines meant for testing features.
Qualifications
Interest in developing, testing, and debugging production-quality, scalable, multi-threaded, concurrent systems.
Interest in distributed systems concepts and client-server architectures.
Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, and concurrency).
You are passionate about code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation.
You are impact and result-driven and biased towards execution.
Currently enrolled in an accredited university program studying.
Computer Science or related field.
Nice To Have
Interest in developing in Go.
Interest in databases and/or storage systems - especially in the public cloud.
Interest in developing for and on containers, container scheduler, and orchestration platforms.
Interest in participating and contributing to open source.
