We are an automotive supplier, a partner to all automakers worldwide. As a technological company, we design innovative products and systems that contribute to reduction of CO2 emissions and to development of automated driving. In our Research and Development center in Prague we employ seven hundred engineers. They are those who stand behind the latest systems of active safety (ADAS) and autonomous driving. What does it mean? Software, hardware engineers, together with mechanical designers, test and system engineers develop sensors and systems for safe and comfortable driving. Automated parking systems, automated emergency braking, blind spot detection and road sign recognition are just a few examples.
We are looking for a JUNIOR PRODUCT OWNER who will play a key role in creating innovative digital experiences, in cooperation within an international dynamic team (working closely with France headquarter team) and with a large community of Valeo quality tools users.
Your challenges?
Work side by side with the Group Quality Tools Manager on the creation, maintenance, improvement and management of Group Quality Apps through their life cycle by:
Coordinating the communication with dev teams and with users
Collecting and analyzing user’s requirements
Writing specifications and design prototypes for approved features
Piloting the follow-up of the development phase and coordinating activities with dev teams, and ensure compliance with specifications and delivery deadlines
Realizing unit, functional and regression tests
Preparing the deployment phase for each release and evaluating the progress
Monitoring bugs corrections
Ensure the follow-up of the projects´ KPIs, participating in the recovery and improvement action plan.
Actively participating in the continuous improvement of the Quality Apps.
Updating the Quality Apps data, documentation and training materials
Updating the Quality Apps Portal’s content
Developing and maintaining the Google Data Studio dashboards
Act as an ambassador internally, leader of the key users’ community and as the primary contact for queries related to the Quality Apps by:
Reporting to management and sharing knowledge via collaborative work tools
Managing the JIRA activity and backlog
Using Agile methodology with Dev team
Providing continuous users’ support
Leading the key user’s community
Performing demos
Let’s talk about you…
Engineering’s or Master’s degree
1-2 years experience working with Agile development methodologies is highly preferred (internships included)
At least B2 English level, both spoken and written.
Excellent communication skills (ability to communicate with teams from different countries)
Creative thinking
Good decision making and problem-solving skills
Strong analytical and logical mindset
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic and international work environment
Willingness to go on missions in the local region
Would be highly appreciated:
1st experience as Product Owner
Experience using Jira
Basic knowledge of coding
Familiarity with Valeo quality tools
