About your role
We are looking for a new colleague for our legal team in Central Europe who wants to be part of driving continued success for us.
As Dun & Bradstreet’s Junior Legal Counsel based in Prague you will play a key role in the legal department for Central Europe in our Czech and Slovakian markets.

You work methodically and easily understand the big picture and are driven by developing and learning new things
Your key responsibilities
Give accurate and timely counsel to various departments (Sales, Customer service, Finance, HR) and provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
Support assertion of Dun & Bradstreet’s own rights and defense against third-party claims, e.g. debt collection, customer complaints.
Communicate and negotiate with business partners, creating relations of trust.
Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation and research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business operations.
Support specifying and local implementation of Dun & Bradstreet’s internal governance policies.
Assist regulary monitoring and reporting of legal issues to the Dun & Bradstreet group.
Communicate with external partners (external counsels, public authorities, etc.) as single point of contact.
Collaborate cross-border with Dun & Bradstreet’s European Legal team.
Curiosity in commercial legal topics and corporate interrelationships.
Excellent understanding of corporate law and procedures.
High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information.
Outstanding communication skills.
Very good command of written and spoken English as well as excellent verbal and written Czech and Slovak.
A hands-on approach.
