• Administer DB instances with main focus on PostgreSQL and/or Cassandra noSQL systems
• Develop internal tools and scripts enabling automation, monitoring and improvement of daily operations
• Handle DB Maintenance, Housekeeping, Backup & Recovery, High-Availability
• Manage Lifecycle and Patches
• Manage incidents, problems and changes.
• Monitor Performance, Tune and Troubleshoot.
• Support our internal customers
• Participate in 7*24 on-call

• Basic Linux and Shell scripting, Python or PHP experience
• PostgreSQL, MS-SQL, Oracle, mySQL, Cassandra knowledge is beneficial
• Interest in Cloud Technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and products, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft Azure
• Profound interest in new technologies and self-motivated troubleshooting
• Communicative team player with good English skills (German also advantageous)
