As a Junior BI Developer at Miinto, you will play an extremely important role in transforming data into readable, goal-driven reports for continued innovation and growth. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, evaluation, modelling and visualisation. The position is based in Warsaw (or remote from Poland).
What you’ll do:

  • Develop, deploy and optimise BI solutions such as integrating new data sources, debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Design and develop new BI reports to provide a better understanding of our business performance.
  • Support in developing and maintaining data pipelines, build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across data sets.
  • Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Work closely with Business analysts, Data analysts and DWH architect to deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.
  • Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data process and duplicate or replicate if necessary.
What we are looking for:

  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Junior BI developer or similar role such as Data Analyst.
  • Experience with working in databases, strong knowledge of SQL / T-SQL and Python.
  • Experience in Power BI or Tableau.
  • Very good written and verbal skills in English.
  • Understanding of data modelling concepts for analytics (star and snowflake schemas, data vault etc.), data warehousing.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical ones.
 
Nice to have: 
  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
  • Worked with statistics, machine learning, forecasting, MIP numerical techniques, time series analysis, and scientific computing.

  • You have the option to either work from our lovely office in Warsaw, or remote from any other location in Poland. If you prefer to work remotely, you can use our remote package to travel to our Warsaw office once in a while to meet up with your team.
