Your tasks:
  • You will assume process responsibility for Capacity & Availability, Event Management and BCM in area of provider management and will be the central contact person for all stakeholders.
 
Capacity and Availability Management

  • Together with our provider, you will structure capacity and availability management and ensure communication within PCC.
  • Your main tasks are: 
    • Monitoring and evaluation of the agreed availabilities and ongoing optimisation of the procedures and processes for securing and restoring availability
    • Monitoring and evaluating the agreed capacities
    • Communicating with the provider about relevant expected changes in the required capacities (e.g., due to new customer orders).
Here you work in close collaboration with the support of the provider as well as architecture and provider management.
 
Event Management

  • Together with our provider, you structure event management and ensure communication within PCC.
  • You define the monitoring with the provider (e.g. on the basis of agreed server policies).
  • Based on the criticality of the underlying infrastructure components of the applications, you define the events and the actions to be derived with the provider.
  • On this basis, you coordinate the following with the provider:
    • Monitoring and evaluation of the agreed availabilities and ongoing optimisation of the procedures and processes for securing and restoring availability by the provider using a coordinated reporting to you.
    • Monitoring and evaluation of the agreed capacities by the provider using a coordinated reporting to you.
    • Your communication with the provider about relevant expected changes of the required capacities (e.g. due to new customer orders).
Here you work in close collaboration with the support of the provider as well as architecture and provider management.

IT Service Continuity Management (BCM)

  • Together with the Information Security, ICS & BCM department and the provider, you develop the IT Service Continuity Management system for PCC and ensure communication within PCC.
  • Your tasks will include:
    • taking precautions for risks that can have a serious impact on the IT services
    • measures are implemented to reduce risks to an acceptable level in cases of catastrophic magnitude
    • targeted recovery measures for IT services in the event of a disaster are planned, trained and documented.
    • the necessary PCC requirements (e.g., responsibilities, recovery plans, etc.) are currently available
Here you will work in close collaboration with support of both the provider and the Information Security, ICS & BCM department.
Your profile:
  • A completed apprenticeship or a degree in the IT field
  • Several years of experience in IT operations
  • Experience as a team leader
  • Knowledge of ITSM tools (training provided)
  • ITIL V3 or V4 (trainings will be offered)
  • Very good communication skills and ability to work well in teams
  • Confidentiality, reliability, conscientiousness, discretion
  • Structured work and high-quality awareness
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken
