Group IT Infrastructure Architect

We are looking for Group IT Architect who will be responsible for ensuring that the technology used to fulfil Fortuna’s business needs is fit-for-purpose, placed well for future technology plans and foreseeable business needs, and is efficient in terms of operations, maintenance and future development potential. S/he contributes to the technology roadmap and acts as a guardian of the technology landscape to ensure it develops in a structured and sustainable way.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of MS Windows servers, creating documentation, request and communication with internal business teams, Network, Security, Cloud and Infra teams;
  • Management of integration projects across FEG Group (CZ, SK, PL, RO, HR, IN);Handle the infrastructure architectural area;
  • Plan future development of our infrastructure environment;
  • Refine, document and communicate architectural principles;
  • Participate in architectural design of individual projects;
  • Ensure that the solutions designed within projects are architecturally compliant;
  • Contribute towards increasing the maturity of Fortuna’s IT architecture competence;
  • Propose specific components and technologies which should be used for future development;
  • To enforce and monitor the "agreed upon" policies and best practices through-out the organization;
  • Coordinate technical work with vendors.

We Require

  • Experience as an IT Infrastructure Architect (3 years) or Operational/engineering background in infrastructure field;
  • Experience designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions;
  • Ability to provide technical system solutions, determine overall design direction and provide hardware recommendations for complex technical issues;
  • Knowledge of Network, Firewall, Security, Storage (NAS/SAN/object), x86 server HW, Virtualization (VMware) principles and best practices;
  • Fluent Czech or Slovak and English;
  • Good ability to document solutions, both in written form and using appropriate visual tools/techniques.
