geNERal ledger accountant
Contract: Full-time, permanent
We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant. YOU will be responsible for performing financial accounting with focus on procurement accounting and possesses an understanding of general accounting methods, principles and a basic understanding of the business. Supporting accounting activities associated with maintaining control of accounts, recording and for the development of reports especially in the following areas:
The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
Assists in monthly analysis and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, analyzes financial information, prepares reports and ensures the correctness of the financial figures. Controls spending for existing purchasing orders. Performs daily and monthly financial and accounting transactions with the general ledger system. Assists with an investigation into daily accounting issues where procedures may not be well defined. Supports automation and streamlining of internal and business reporting processes. Performs various basic general accounting duties including development of simple reports and analysis of specific accounts as required. Manages ad hoc requests, and participates in projects as/when required. Maintains communication and partnership & collaboration every day.
