In this role, you will help manage business-to-business relationships with our partners who provide us with virtual cards and other online payment technology. Business Account Management of our key partners
Daily communication in English with our online payment providers (banks, card issuers) from all over the world and nurturing the relationship with them
Monitoring and reporting performance of the accounts (transactions' volume, fees, discrepancies)
Ensuring that the contract conditions we have with the partner are met
Detailed understanding of online payment solutions from a product and business point of view (contractual terms, pricing terms, transactional data reports, detailed understanding of the partners' card product portfolio, cards safety measures, and technical background of card payment processing)
Closely monitoring and analyzing data about Kiwi.com outgoing card transactions and looking for ways to reduce costs for card payment processing; preparing complex managerial reports and projections
Cooperating with the members of the whole team, as well as colleagues from other departments (Finance, Analytics, BizDev, Product Management, etc.)
Participating in projects aiming to improve the efficiency of outgoing card transactions (integration of new partners, tools and processes)
Participate in the research of potential partners, leading the commercial discussions and negotiations, and then onboarding new service providers and projects related to a pay-out area
What “must have” qualities are we looking for?
Great communication skills – you are not scared to initiate the conversation, you are outgoing, friendly, with a good sense of humor, open-minded, and at the same time, active listening techniques are not new to you!
Good analytical thinking, you can and don’t mind analyze a large amount of data and investigate complex issues, make decisions and develop solutions, attention to detail is a big advantage
Profound knowledge of Czech/Slovak as well as English (level C1) both spoken and written level
The common software knowledge, especially Google Suite tools, and an advanced command of MS Excel
Which qualities are really “good to have” for this role?
Self-motivated team player, extremely detail-oriented, however, be prepared to occasionally perform repetitive tasks (invoice checking, weekly reports preparation, etc.)
Persistent and independent, able to perform tasks on your own with a strong ‘can do’ attitude
Strong ability of prioritization with great time management and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment
University degree in Economics/Finance
Furthermore, “nice to have” would be:
Enthusiasm for tech and travel
Previous experience in business account management (nurturing of business-to-business relationships)
Experiences in a similar business environment
