Introduction
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who would be part of a dynamic and critical squad working on IBM Cloud cost calculation-related tools. You will be responsible for implementing DevOps best practices within an internal project already utilized by hundreds of employees. We are using a hybrid cloud within the project and trying to increase its adoption among hundreds of customers.

The position is based in Prague, Czech Republic.

We are open to flexible working hours (at least 2-3 days a week on-site is required).

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Design and maintenance of the infrastructure and the deployment processes
• Automation, configuration, and container management
• Supporting and implementing CI/CD infrastructure on the project
• Ensuring best practices and project baselines are met
• Production and non-production environment installation and management
• Application management, including backup and monitoring

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Knowledge and management of Docker containers
• Scripting (Shell, Python or Ruby) and at least one general programming language (preferably TypeScript)
• Experience with hybrid cloud solutions
• Implementing DevOps best practices from scratch
• Critical and analytical thinking
• English - B2, Czech is not mandatory
• Fundamental experience in Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Advanced Docker knowledge and awareness of best practices
• Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes orchestration
• Experience with IBM public and hybrid cloud
• Experience with NodeJS projects
• Proven hands-on experience SW development, testing, CI/CD, like TravisCI, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or any different
• TCP/IP protocols knowledge (SSH, HTTP, …) is an advantage
