What you will do
Identify, collect, and analyze key data inputs to the forecasting process
Support the development of a rolling demand forecast (both volume and $) to be used as a basis for supply planning and financial forecasting. Collaborate with business partners to develop consensus demand plan and consensus forecast
Support client’s planning team and coordinate with regional sales leadership, product management and finance for the demand management reviews
Fine tune forecast models and perform best-fit analysis against forecast algorithms
Develop long term aggregate level forecast and provide in-depth analyses on demand trends to assist service strategy formulation and forecast planning
Ensure that awareness and understanding of forecast changes exists in all relevant departments
Collaborate with Client and other business partners to understand upcoming material needs and to ensure forecast adjustments are accurate. Coordinate new product introduction and phase-put plans with Client team
Review and resolve exceptions generated by Client forecasting team
Track and analyze consumption against the original forecast and generate performance reports
Analyze impacts from changes in demand forecasts and supply plans on agreed inventory levels.
Communicate clear summary of high impact risks and opportunities in the demand plan requiring subsequent corrective action and preventive actions
What you should bring
Supply chain: Forecats management, modelling, demand planning, forecast simulation and best-fit analysis in D&SP Tool
Experience: 5+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and part number change management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mateirals planning using an ERP/MRP system, other planning systems (SAP)
Fluency in English language (spoken and written)
