To further grow our Czech Republic & Slovakia Lotus Biscoff business, we are looking for a Demand planner. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing, planning and forecasting the Lotus Biscoff and Natural Foods business on Czech Republic (covering 4 key categories – Biscuits, Spreads, Ice Cream & Natural Foods snacks) in both the Retail & OOH channels and for our local distributor in Slovakia. You will have full responsibility of forecasting, adjusting the orders for the best effectivity and for the stock replenishment via SAP - working closely with our planning teams in Belgium and Czech Republic customer service department to ensure a smooth flow of manufactured product in order to meet the demand plan. You will be part of our Sales office team, which is located in Prague.

Functiebeschrijving

  • Delivery of high-quality demand forecast at SKU and customer level by establishing core and promotional forecast.
  • Full responsibility of the management of this demand plan using the IBP forecasting tool and other systems.
  • Analyzing all relevant data (eg. customer forecasts), optimizing stock level in warehouse alongside the sales teams to help formulate short, medium- and long-term demand plans by customer, challenge where necessary to ensure the most up-to-date and accurate forecasting.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities that could impact the future forecast and demand plan and ensure this is communicated ongoing to the relevant people within the organization
  • Collecting, analyzing and processing data into the promotion plan.
  • Managing ongoing stock ordering and replenishment via SAP and communication with our planning teams in Belgium.
  • Monitoring changes in production and delivery , evaluating the impact on planned activities and pushing for the best time & volume scenario of deliveries.
  • Working collaboratively with Customer Services team to ensure smooth flow of stock to CZ and Slovakia to achieve ongoing demand plan and maintain an excellent customer service level.
  • Preparing for and leading the monthly internal forecast review meeting held with our sales team & planning lead in Belgium.
  • Work collaboratively with the logistics and sales teams to ensure continuous improvement in the demand management process and high level of forecast accuracy.
  • Working with the sales team to help prepare for any external demand/supply chain meetings.
  • Back up of Sales assistant and Logistic coordinator in periods of leave.
  • Reporting to the Country Manager.

Profiel

  • Master degree or equivalent by experience
  • minimum 2-3 years in similar role required
  • Thorough knowledge of demand planning/forecasting process, ideally experience in using IBP forecasting tool (not essential if not)
  • Ideally experienced in FMCG food manufacturing / logistics environment
  • SAP knowledge
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office in particular Excel
  • Ability to work independently and within a cross functional team
  • Communicative Englis
  • Team player, determined, resilient, proactive, reliable, positive, trustworthy and passionate
