The role is cross-platform/cross-project supporting the enhancement and adoption of our BI platform products in business projects.
Participation in novelty & innovative project pilots and PoCs related to reporting & analytic tools.
While the significant part of the role would be the BI development following the industry good practice, the scope of the role is to also actively participate on the reusable cloud-based BI platform/product development, i.e. utilizing AWS services to build and enhance BI frameworks.
Providing support and consultations to BI developers and analysts in terms of education and training of proper usage of the tools
Direct cooperation and support for BI Solution architects
Communicating & collaborating with other IT & business domain stakeholders
Supporting decisions across a complex global organization.
Ensuring alignment of proposed designs and solutions in context with other IT/IS organization units as well as with business requirements.
Mentoring of junior colleagues and interns.
Qualification, skills and experience required:
Demonstrated knowledge in BI reporting and analytical tools is required
Knowledge of SQL is required
Multiple BI project design/delivery experience is expected as well as the ability to articulate and apply domain best practices
Essential knowledge of AWS service stack would be highly welcome
Database design skill is an advantage
Knowledge of data transformation design&development (ETL/ELT) is an advantage
Essential skill in Python or some scripting is an advantage
Experience with project based approach is expected
High standard in general communication is expected
Efficient business and technical English language skills is a must
Innovative approach is expected
Willingness to continuously learn both in business and IT area is expected
