Data Science Hub based in Warsaw is a place where we develop innovative solutions in the field of quantitative methods and apply it in the exciting world of globally connected Nestle Supply Chain and beyond.
Key responsibilities:
- Work independently on data exploration and modelling
- Develop appropriate data flows, visualizations, statistical and machine learning models that benefit and optimize business operations
- Lead projects and presenting results to stakeholders with a non-technical background
- Support the continuous improvement of ways of working within the Data Science Hub – based on previous examples of best practices (both internal and external) and feedback from project stakeholders
- Involve in innovative projects in various areas within Nestlé
Expectations towards candidates:
- At least 1 year of experience in similar position
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Big Data or similar studies
- Experience in tools for statistical analysis: R, Python, SAS or others
- Experience in application of statistical techniques and concepts (statistical tests, regression, feature selection, time series modeling, etc.) in the business environment
- Experience and independence in processing and analyzing large amounts of data
- Basic knowledge of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision trees, boosting, etc.)
- Good communication and presentation skills and willingness to grow
- Ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-technical audience
- Ability to work with different organizational levels
- Willingness to work in an international environment
- Fluent English is a must
