Cell Therapy Account Manager (CTAM) is handling therapeutic area of Cell Therapy/Oncology, delivers sales of Kite/Gilead products by ensuring center certification for CAR-T products, continuous support of centers to maintain accreditation status, and by promoting the appropriate use of products to the relevant healthcare professionals in the Czech Republic/Slovakia.
CTAM joins a small, focused and successful cross-functional Cell Therapy/Oncology team and will have responsibility for selected centers in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.
The position is field-based, involving frequent travel to appointments, meetings and conferences.
Key Requirements Education:
Masters degree or higher, preferably MD or Ph.D. in bio/medical sciences
Experience and special knowledge:
2+ years as key account manager or specialty care representative, and 4+ years of overall pharmaceuticals/healthcare experience (pharmaceutical/biotech/medical/academic)
Experience in an international innovative pharmaceutical company strongly preferred
Very good level of written and spoken English, excellent to bi-lingual is strongly preferred
Knowledge of quality control, implementation of standard operating procedures in healthcare
Ability to understand and communicate scientific content
Ability to align and lead cross functionally
Experience with managing large accounts including strategic planning, problem solving and execution
Experience with planning and organizing seminars and workshops for health care professionals
Oncology/hematology experience
Previous experience in US based company is preferred
Other requirements:
Driver´s license

Main responsibilities
Achieve product sales – by ensuring balanced communication of safety/efficacy profile of Kite/Gilead products in (certified and referral) centers, and be planning and delivering sales/commercial activities, visits, and customer interactions in line with Brand Strategy
Coordinate and ensure certification of selected centers for treatment with Kite/Gilead CAR-T registered products, to ensure continued support of certified centers with technical and customer needs to maintain all requirements/full center certification, and exceptional customer experience
Display and communicate Kite/Gilead and Cell Therapy/Oncology BU values, internally and externally, thus creating and delivering long term value for Kite/Gilead and all constituents
Other responsibilities:
Align across functions in CZ/SK affiliate and internationally e.g. Kite Quality assurance, Case Management, Customer Operations to deliver on Main responsibilities
Collaborate and communicate with colleagues in commercial, quality and medical affairs to ensure successful coordination of CAR/-T cell journey and patient access
As a key hematology/oncology team member coordinate and collaborate across Gilead functions to achieve results. As the “owner” of the assigned accounts prepare business plan for accounts and territory, propose and implements actions/activities to achieve goals
Prepare budgets for customer contacts, scientific events, workshops, round tables and other external expenditures
Meet required frequency of visits at targeted customers to ensure impactful territory coverage, ensure timely and value adding reporting
Navigate complex account environment and identify the needs/issues of various stakeholders at all levels within the account, identify solutions, ensure decision and implementation
Attend and provide support at professional meetings, reporting on scientific sessions
Actively gain customer insights, provide timely follow-up on commitments and requests
Facilitate and provide timely feedback to management regarding account business trends, changes in the therapeutic landscape, industry issues and business opportunities
Report in company systems to monitor sales progress and action plans
Operate in compliance with laws, regulations and company policies (e.g. Business Conduct, PV reporting, timely and full company trainings)
Territory scope is the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic, requires 10- 25% overnight travel
