The Business Finance Manager is responsible and oversees the financial planning and analysis processes and requirements. Provides financial guidance in compliance with financial policies, provides business decision support and leads key projects and initiatives to improve financial processes. The Finance Manager interacts with all levels of finance, other departments and the management and cooperates with Region/Area FP&A. Business Finance Manager is crucial finance partner to the business and is the main copilot and driver of the business together with Business Unit Director and Brand Managers.

In addition, the responsibilities will cover also:

  • Preparation of reports for local management and HQ
  • Preparation of complete set of analyses for financial PLAN, Updates, LBE (Latest Best Estimate) and LRP (Long Range Plan)
  • Preparation of revenue and cost analyses
  • Preparation of commercial models for LRP and PLAN
  • Preparation of sales and costs reconciliation
  • Preparation of plan review back up and participate on reviews if necessary
  • Reporting of the mandatory financial reports
  • Cover demand process from finance perspective and maintain data in planning systems
  • Price change approvals in pricing database
  • Other approvals connected with the role and level of responsibility
  • Preparation of price analyses for price referencing in CR and SR, price management
  • Cooperation with Market Access on business cases connected to new product launches and price referencing
  • Cooperation on month end closing from FP&A perspective, revision of open accruals, overview and revision of business unit related expenses
  • Cooperation and management of Advertising and Promotion expenses
  • Managing one direct report – Financial Analyst
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • University degree (Bc/MBA) preferred,
  • 5-7 years of experience on similar position in multinational company,
  • Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft Excel (Power BI is an advantage),
  • Other ERPs such as SAP, SAP SRM, SAP BPC, Hyperion, Aspire, JDA, BlackLine, PriceRight is an advantage,
  • Accuracy in work with numbers and detailed oriented,
  • Upper Intermediate knowledge of Czech and English languages are a must, to be able to communicate in both on ever ay basis, to actively participate on meetings held in both languages,
  • Agile and being able to decide in ambiguous situations,
  • Being able to say no,
  • Being able to manage different stakeholders, present in front of an audience
  • Being able to prioritize and manage tough deadlines
  • Team player with good inter-personal communication skills and active listening skills,
