We are an automotive supplier, a partner to all automakers worldwide. As a technological company, we design innovative products and systems that contribute to reduction of CO2 emissions and to development of automated driving. In our Research and Development center in Prague, we employ seven hundred engineers. They are those who stand behind the latest systems of active safety (ADAS) and autonomous driving. What does it mean? Software, hardware engineers, together with mechanical designers, test and system engineers develop sensors and systems for safe and comfortable driving. Automated parking systems, automated emergency braking, blind spot detection and road sign recognition are just a few examples.
Through many years of hard and precise work, we gathered the knowledge, toolchain and infrastructure to establish a strong expertised System Validation Platform with more than experts worldwide. Currently we are starting to deliver our services to new customers and therefore we are looking for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to lead the business development and sales activities globally.
Ensure Business Plan of System Validation Platform from a sales and technical viewpoint, prospecting and identifying growth potential (new customers, new regions) globally.
Contribute to the definition of sales objectives and new projects.
Building and achieving the Order Intake target of the platform
Identify and propose targets, build and get a decision on New Project Approvals together with the Global Customer Technical Directors
Work together with the Product/Business Group Customer Director if there is a need notably to define the price strategy.
Ensure alignment between Strategy Product Planning and Customer Product/Technology roadmap
Ensure the right offers to the client, working closely with the Project Management, R&D and SysVal team.
Deliver a Commercial Insight to the customer.
Teach the customer for differentiation and make them think differently
Liaise with PM/R&D/SysVal team to tailor the right offer and support
Take all possible steps with PM/ R&D and Sales to offer a technical solution matching the specifications and economically competitive.
Take the lead to meet specifications at targeted price.
Support the OI Budget & Mid Term Plan (MTP) process.
Work together with the Product/Business Group Sales Director and the team to make sure that the right targets in the Engineering Services are budgeted and part of the MTP of the Product/Business Group.
LET´S TALK ABOUT YOU…
Master Degree in Sales or Engineering.
Proven track record in sales/business development or purchasing with OEM automotive customers.
Experience in Business Development for services.
Strong focus on customer experience.
Fluent English is a must; German or French highly beneficial.
Driving license and willingness to travel – 50% of time expected to be spent with traveling.
