We are looking for a student or a part-time employee working closely with Facilities leadership members to steer their business within given financial boundaries.
Global Real Estate & Facilities (GRF) – as part of the Global Finance & Administration Board Area – is a global innovative and trusted business partner developing and driving world-class workplace and infrastructure solutions. With growing numbers of employees worldwide GRF needs to think about new scalable workplace solutions to support SAP’s growth.
In your position as an intern or working student you will join a global team and you will support business units all over the world. With that you will gain experience in international Facility topics and interact with senior leaders. Furthermore, you will be involved in driving different projects. These could be accounting projects as well as strategic projects.
We are a cross-generational & international team consisting of 8 employees & spread over Europe, Asia & US, currently working mainly in a virtual mode.
What you’ll do
- Support managing financial performance of Facility units. Being involved in specific projects
- To assist driving master data compliance checks ensuring that all changes processed are correctly reflected in the system
- Support to Controllers in various activities such as quarter end closing, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to management
- Support driving costs analysis, monitoring Purchase Orders, updating analysis and managing Internal Orders
- Proactive interaction and communication with other team members, managers, and other internal customers in an international environment
What you bring

- University student in Business, Finance, Economics, currently enrolled
- General software skills including excel and power point
- Good communication skills
- Very strong analytical skills, conceptual and structured thinking
- Ability to work under pressure and to cope with deadlines
- Self-managed, high customer orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus

Organizationally located within Global Controlling, Business Area Controlling (BAC) paves the road for scalable Controlling services and lays the foundation for true automation in the interest of the internal customers of Controlling. As a cross-board-area team, BAC helps managers served with high-value business partnering to steer their business. At the same time the team provides the basis to support the respective Board Member and the Board Area leadership team. In your position as Controlling Associate you will gain experience in international business Controlling working with teams around the world and get deep insight into SAP’s finance organization and processes.
