Our EMEA Finance has identified an exciting job opportunity for a finance professional who is experienced in accounting and controlling and keen to further develop as finance analyst with main focus on current and future financial systems and reporting tools.
The main mission is to to support EMEA finance functions in understanding and analyzing financial and business systems to enable consistent and accurate financial data consolidation and reporting. You would play a key role in all activities in the preparation of periodical reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and the Outlook process from the systems & tools perspective. Furthemore, you would assist EMEA finance organization with maintenance and continuous improvement of analytics and tool and thus contribute to an efficient long-range and short-range forecast process within EMEA.

Your focus areas will be:
Monthly closing & Management reporting: Support the monthly close process for the EMEA region, monthly reporting of the actuals to the regional executive management as part of the month-end package coordinated by the regional Accounting and FP&A functions
Analytics: Data inputs and consistency impacting accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financials
Quality: Identify data inconsistencies and propose data as well as process adjustments in order to improve reporting capability
Knowledge: Subject matter expert on applicable financial systems and tools, notably SAP, SAP Business Warehouse (BW), Power BI for customised financial dashboards (development and maintenance). IBM Cognos knowledge is a plus.
Digital transformation: Integrated Management Systems, automation of data flow and analysis, efficient utilization of applicable financial systems & tools
Stakeholders’ management: Effective communication and coordination with key stakeholders

In a nutshel, you will play a key role in month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing activities for the EMEA region, monthly reporting of the actuals to the regional executive management coordinated by the regional Accounting and FP&A functions; this includes liaising with the EMEA subsidiaries and functions as well as the Shared Service by:
consulting the subsidiaries on system related topics and provides guidance.
supporting the local finance team and controllers in the region with respect to the closing related activities.
performing internal control activities as set out by the Group including the related systems, controls, procedures, and documentation
regularly monitoring of the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance processes

We would like you to bring:
At least Bachelor’s degree from finance, accounting, business administration or relevant job experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in general finance, accounting or controlling, or equivalent position in a multinational company
Advanced knowledge of finance processes and financial systems and tools
Excellent communication skills, attention to details, conflict resolution skills, big-picture thinking and vision, self-responsibility, and internal customer orientation
Experience from a shared services or centre of excellence setup is an advantage
