We have an opportunity for an EMEAI Communications Director to join our Honeywell team in Czech Republic or United Kingdom. This Communications Director role in the Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT) strategic business group will lead executive, internal and change management communications for all PMT businesses in the EMEAI region.
The individual in this senior communications role will serve as a strategic counsel to the regional business and functional leaders, working closely with HR partners on timely execution of proactive internal programs and campaigns to increase employee engagement in support of regional strategic objectives.
The futureshaper holding this role will set up and manage the thought leadership program for a select number of senior regional business leaders. The individual will also drive communications plans for change management initiatives and crisis communications across the region.
A successful candidate will need to work in a close alignment with regional corporate communications and external communications functions to ensure proper amplification of key Honeywell-wide initiatives to PMT EMEAI employee populations.
Like all members of the communications function, this individual will be expected to track, analyze, and leverage analytics to improve the quality and strategic direction of communications activities. A successful candidate will be able to quickly navigate in a complex organization, work independently and in a team, take initiative, and effectively interact with all levels of the organization, including the regional leadership team.
Tasks
Key responsibilities
Drive strategic communications programs to increase employee engagement across PMT EMEAI.
Set up and manage thought leadership programs for senior regional leaders.
Lead and execute communications of change management programs.
Manage crisis communications for all PMT EMEAI businesses.
Closely collaborate with key PMT functions and across Honeywell on communications projects in support of the business and function.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications or related fields
10+ years of internal and external communications experience in a corporate/agency setting
Previous experience in large, complex, matrixed organizations, working with senior business and functional leaders
A successful track record developing and implementing innovative internal communications campaigns using a broad array of tactics
Excellent communications skills, including verbal and especially written
Exceptional interpersonal skills
