The team you will be a part of
The Category Management team develops and implements marketing strategies to identify effective distribution channels. Researches and analyzes the marketplace to identify new channel, partnership and co-branding opportunities. Develops and monitors channel opportunities, licensing agreements, joint ventures and partnerships to maximize revenues. Designs, develops and implements marketing programs with third-party partners.
This role in summary
We are looking for a Category Product Manager Czech Republic (CR) and Slovakia (SK). You will manage the Cooling category of products for our company in CR and SK. You will create go-to-market plans and product strategy execution to deliver in line with market PP through a full understanding of channel priorities. Translating insights into actionable plans.
Your responsibilities will include
Develop and translate product/marketing strategies (launch plans, market dynamics, benchmark) into customised channel/TP specific marketing/action plans.
Conduct business analysis and gather market insights to set priorities to channel sales teams.
Define market product line up based on model catalogue.
Manage TPI according to company guidelines.
Define local merchandising materials including localization.
Develop promo plan by account/product category.
Create concept and prepare sell in/sell out offers and trade partner promotions.
Translate & execute go-to-market plans to deliver in line with market PP.
Reference for decisions on assortment, distribution, display, MSRP pricing, promotion at Trade Partner / category level.
Contribute to optimize Sales execution effectiveness and Trade coverage, lead sell-in & sell-out progresses.
Within regional guidelines, define product assortment and prices/value chains at TP’s level.
Lead regular product forecasting process.
Deploy push plans and communicate service level gaps / continuously seek opportunities.
Key trade partners meetings preparation and participation.
Plan and execute PMR activities.
Proven experience in a similar role
Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
Proficient in MS Office
An analytical mind with a strategic ability
Excellent communication and people skills
Native Czech or Slovakian
Preferred skills and experiences
CR and SK market knowledge for home appliances or electronics
